owner & electrician, Derek kittredge
I started out in the electrical trade in 2005. After serving 5 years in the Army, I completed the apprenticeship progam and passed my license exam in 2016 while living in Wisconsin. In 2023, we moved back to New Mexico and I completed my EE-98J license #421151 in 2025, and then in 2026 I completed my EE98 license #425095.
I’m originally from ALbuquerque, New Mexico on the West Side over there by Coors and Central. I graduated from West Mesa High School in 2005. I served in the Army for 5 years having completed one combat tour to Iraq as an Infantryman in 08-09 and then going on to become a Sniper Team Leader.
I have been involved in every aspect of electrical work from apprentice to Journeyman to Foreman to Superintendent. My attention to detail, work ethic, and integrity are unmatched. My standards for craftsmanship are similar to my standards while serving in elite military units: Simply the best.
I live with my wife in Abiquiu, New Mexico.
I’m also a published poet, ultramarathon runner, lifelong skateboarder, artist, and musician.
